Paint Exchange is an exciting scheme exclusive to a number of Johnstone’s Decorating Centres that allows you to bring back unused paint, of ANY brand, and we will recycle both the can, and the product, free of charge!

The environment is a core consideration to us throughout our manufacturing, sourcing and distribution processes all the way through to the end use. We enjoy seeing our customer use our products in sustainable projects, so if you’re stuck with leftover paint and don’t want it to end up in landfill, our Paint Exchange stores will recycle and reuse the paint and packaging.

All you need to do is go to one of our selected stores and for every tin purchased you can drop a tin off for recycling. Whether the paint tin is full or empty we will recycle ANY brand and ANY water-based product FREE OF CHARGE.
For every litre of paint recycled, you can save enough embedded carbon to drive a transit van 5 miles carbon free!
